I understand that life comes with complex challenges that can bring up painful emotions that can be difficult to navigate. I have worked with children, youth, and adults to work through these challenges. I hold a Bachelors of Education and previously worked as a teacher. I completed my Master’s in Counselling Psychology with a special focus in helping young adults adapt to the challenges and stressors of adulthood and discover their sense of self.
I support clients in living more fully while navigating life's painful and difficult moments. Through a collaborative therapeutic process, we'll work towards building peace and a deeper sense of personal meaning in your life. Through the therapeutic journey, I will encourage and support you to live more consciously and purposefully. With a foundation of empathy, trust, and active listening, I aim to offer a safe, supportive space where you can be accepted just as you are while working towards living more authentically.
I work with a wide array of issues, however I often help clients navigate grief, depression, ADHD/neurodiversity, identity shifts, trauma. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioural, Expressive Arts, Narrative, and Attachment based therapies. I work in-person in Kelowna and virtually for those across BC.
When I am not counselling, I enjoy drawing on my iPad, reading fiction, listening to podcasts, and spending lots of time outside.
