My style is deeply reflective and collaborative. Among other modalities I am fortunate to have been trained in Functional Family Therapy, an intentional, short term and targeted model which continues to inform my approach. I also have formal training in the Satir Model as well as the Gottman Method (Level 1) for Couples which merge well with the thoughtful and allied aspects of Functional Family Therapy while adding their own flare to my systemic services.
I have a background that ranges from youth residential services, men’s counselling and play therapy as well as in-home parenting support and family therapy. I hold a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Lethbridge and am a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
I’ve spent the last 15 years working with families to navigate the challenges of family life and love. I trust in families and the staying power of connection and understanding.
Whatever has brought you here, I’m glad you are reaching out for support.
